Trench Cutting.

asp groundworks operate their own pedestrian trench cutting machine for laying pipes and cables underground. The trench cutter will cut a 75mm slot to a depth of 450mm with a minimum of disruption to the visible surface.
Any turf which is removed will very quickly recover as it is only necessary to strip it away long enough to lay the cables in the ground. Our trenching machine is very lightweight and easily transported, when compared to an excavator, and does not leave great gouges in the ground. On established lawns we can lay plastic sheeting to the side of the trench onto which the spoil from the trench cutter is deposited making it easier to return to the trench once the pipes and cables have been introduced.
